Members of the Killearn Lakes Community have access to Lake Monkey Business where they can canoe, picnic or fish as well as a few other smaller ponds in the community. There is a large recreation park, Tequesta Park, that contains playground equipment, baseball and soccer fields and picnic areas. The community hold quarterly homeowner events and picnics. It is not unusual to see an occasional movie in the park as well given by a local church group.

Killearn Lakes has a community pool and tennis club available to residents who wish to pay an annual membership/maintenance fee. Information for this can be found on the KLHOA website. Golden Eagle Country Club Memberships are available on their website as well.

Killearn has winding roads, loads of trees and natural fauna and there is plenty of wildlife despite the homes and density in some areas.
